Reimagining the Historic House Museum

Historic house museums are the most numerous and often, most conventional, U.S. museum type.  This event brings together leaders who are transforming house museums to tell new stories and create new experiences.

This is one of five videos in this series.  The complete series includes:

Elizabeth Chew (James Madison’s Montpelier)

Lisa Yun Lee (National Public Housing Museum)

Mark Heppner (Historic Ford Estates)

Frank Vagnone (“Anarchist’s Guide to Historic House Museums”)

Nancy Villa Bryk (Program in Historic Preservation, Eastern Michigan University)
