Dec 13 – Sindecuse Museum of Dentistry, Artistry guided tour
The Sindecuse Museum would like to invite you all to come get a guided tour with the Guest Curator of our latest exhibit, “Dentistry/Artistry: Passions of a Creative Mind,” Adam Johnson (Collections Coordinator) and Dr. Stephen Stefanac (a recently retired faculty member from the School of Dentistry and also an included artist)!
This exhibit examines the connection between the artistic skill necessitated for dental expertise and the creative endeavors many take in their freetime. This exhibition is composed of art made by the School of Dentistry alumni, faculty, students, and staff so come celebrate our community and also see some amazing art at the same time!
The date and times for the first tour are:
Tuesday, December 13th from 10-10:45 AM
Tuesday, December 13th from 2-2:45 PM
To sign up for the tour, follow this link here.
This exhibit has 6 different display areas and will take us on a route from the 1st Floor Kellogg Building, the walkway over the Atrium, into the 1st floor of the Clinic building hallways, and finish on the 2nd floor of the Kellogg Building outside the Pediatric Dentistry office.
If there is enough interest to run additional tour dates, we are definitely interested in doing so after the holidays.
An active MCard will allow entry into keypadded doors at the School of Dentistry. Please meet on the 1st floor atrium area of the Kellogg Building outside the Orthodontic Clinic. You will see 4 three dimensional artifact cases for orientation.
