Retirement congratulations!

Congratulations to MSP’s founding Director, Ray Silverman, on his recent retirement!  Ray collaborated with colleagues at the University of Michigan to bring to life the graduate certificate in Museum Studies.  The program welcomed its first cohort in 2003 and is still going strong.  After stepping down as Director of the program in 2012, Ray continued to remain active on our Steering Committee and has assisted with several MSP events in recent years.  Ray also served as a Professor in the History of Art and in the Department of Afroamerican and African Studies.  We look forward to seeing Ray again at an MSP event in 2021!
