Publishing opportunity for museum students!
The Museum Scholar (www.themuseumscholar. org) is a free open access academic journal that provides an opportunity for all museum students and recent graduates to publish their work. Articles undergo a double-blind peer review, and are submitted to Crossref, DOI, and the LOCKSS archiving system when published. The Museum Scholar (TMS) also seeks student peer reviewers who will be taught how to review academic articles. Participation in TMS is completely free of charge.
TMS seeks to expand publishing opportunities for museum students, and is willing to publish conference proceedings hosted by your museum cohort free of charge, or partner with your program to encourage publishing academic work.
This journal is an imprint of the 501(c)(3) nonprofit Rogers Publishing (www.rogerspublishing.org), based in Chicago. TMS’s sister publication, The Museum Review (www.themuseumreview.or g), is a new open access journal for museum academics and practitioners.
Please do not hesitate to contact editor@themuseumschola r.org with any inquiries or if you are interested in participating.
