November 3 – Museums at Noon presentation
Museums at Noon presentation by Zachary Kopin (PhD, History)
“What Happens When a Museum Is Something Other than a Museum?”
This talk will discuss what happens to a museum and how it operates when its primary function is not to put its collections on display. Constitution Hill, such an example, was once a notorious prison in colonial and apartheid South Africa and is now home to the country’s Constitutional Court.
