Nov 3 event – “Cultural Heritage in Sites and Museums in India: Challenges and Opportunities”

November 3 at 6:30 pm, UM Museum of Art auditorium:  Shraddha Bhatawadekar (South Asian Studies) will discuss India’s repository of cultural heritage preserved in archaeological sites of past communities, monuments, and museums.  Such heritage is threatened by multiple risk factors, but initiatives have begun to preserve and promote these cultural items.  Details here.
