Graham Beal receives honorary UM degree

Graham Beal, the recently retired director, president and chief executive officer of the Detroit Institute of Arts, and currently the Hannah Visiting Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University, received a Doctor of Humane Letters honorary degree at the December 20 winter commencement ceremony.  Graham has been a friend to our program for many years, and we congratulate him on this honorary degree!
