Michigan Museums Association conference – student scholarships

Thanks to the Historic Ford Estates, the Michigan Museums Association (MMA) is pleased to offer a number of scholarships to help students attend our annual conference. From the Ground Up: Leadership in Museums will take placeOctober 28-30, 2018 in Dearborn. The conference will focus on leadership from a variety of perspectives and in a variety of roles. The conference will include speakers, sessions, tours, and events and will take place at the Dearborn Inn.

Scholarships are available to currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students of any program in a public or private university in Michigan, or to students who reside in Michigan and are attending programs elsewhere. Scholarships will be awarded based on potential benefits of attendance as explained in the application and relevance to career goals, and will reflect the broadest representation. The scholarships will cover full conference registration but not the hotel or other expenses. Recipients are expected to attend the entire conference, if possible.
