Applications for 2017-18

The University of Michigan offers a unique interdisciplinary graduate program in museum studies that draws upon an exceptional array of institutional resources in the arts, humanities, sciences, social sciences, and technology.  The Museum Studies Program is a 12-credit certificate program (plus funded internship) designed to complement graduate degree programs across the disciplines.  Conceived as an applied theory program, the MSP curriculum examines the roles of museums and related institutions in society from various theoretical and historical perspectives and prepares students for careers in a variety of professional settings including museums, arboretums, zoos, botanical gardens, heritage sites, archives, and universities.

Applications are currently being accepted for Fall 2017.  The application deadline is February 24, 2017.
