Fort Ticonderoga Fellowships (Ticonderoga, New York)

Immerse yourself in history and gain hands-on experience at one of America’s most iconic landmarks!  Fort Ticonderoga’s Edward W. Pell Graduate Fellowship Program offers a unique opportunity for aspiring historians, educators, and museum professionals to work alongside talented experts. Spend your summer exploring the rich history of this historic site, contributing to groundbreaking research, and developing essential skills for a career in the field.

Fort Ticonderoga is now accepting applications for the Edward W. Pell Graduate Fellowships for 2025 for graduate students in areas of museum exhibitions, education, archives, and collections management.

Fort Ticonderoga has a dynamic staff that strives for excellence in all areas of its operations. These two-month fellowships are designed to provide fellows with a unique opportunity to work side-by-side with both our staff and collaborate with other fellows. Fellows will work on projects at Fort Ticonderoga in preparation for our 2026 museum season.

Applications are due January 20, 2025. Successful applicants will be notified by March 1, 2025. Interviews will take place via Zoom in late January and early February.
