Student Field Researcher – International Center for the Arts of the Americas
The International Center for the Arts of the Americas (ICAA) at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houton is collaborating with the UM Bentley Historical Library this Fall. The collaboration is for ICAA’s Latinx Papers Project, which seeks to research, digitize, and publish key primary source documents related to Latinx art and artists to the ICAA’s Documents Project digital platform. ICAA is seeking a MA or PhD student with a background and interest in Latinx art and culture. Basic experience researching in library special collections is also helpful. The selected student will work with ICAA and Bentley staff to survey and identify documents of interest within the Bentley’s collections.
